Just another day........

Cash is not a crier. He falls down 30 times a day and looks up says "I ok" and that's that. People's reactions are really funny when he falls because we don't even flinch and they gasp and freak out and there's Cash "I ok!" But not yesterday morning. I was talking to my mom on the phone and heard a hell of a crash and instint crying... I ran into Cash's room and he was face down on the floor. He told me he "fell off the ball". He has an obsession with my Yoga ball. (at least someone uses it) I think he was playing on it and when he fell off he cracked his eyebrow on eaither the table or a toy. I'm still not sure, but he has a nice bruise on his eyebrow. Then later in the day the poor kid was standing on one of the video game chairs trying to look up on the counter (which I tell him over and over NOT to do) and he slipped and smacked the end of his nose right of the edge of the counter. I was sure I would get around the counter to find blood pouring out but I didn't. He wasn't happy but understandably so! So he kinda had a tuff day. He goes days without crying for being hurt and he busted himself up twice in one day! Poor guy....
However, earlier in the day I had asked him if he was going to wear clothes today. He took a moment to think about it, looked at me and said "Woody Clothes". Well alright Buddy, Woody clothes it is.....

Later he put on his Buzz Light Year out fit and ended the day as Superman...Yes, we go through a lot of clothes in a day but he has a good time doing it. He's all about the "good guys" and the "bad guys". Jake picked him up and was tickling him and Cash grabbed his face and said "Put me down Bad Guy!" I cracked up. I put him to  bed with Woody and Buzz and proceeded to give everyone hugs and kisses, yes Woody and Buzz have to get hugs and kisses too, and we called it a day!

Welcome to Blog Burbank!

So here we are! The end of 2010. The Burbanks are heading into 2011 with a fresh start and in a really good place. I've wanted to start a blog for a long time to keep track of what we do and all the funny things Cash says and does so I've finally done it. I've started "Blog Burbank"! I'm excited to be able to have a place to put pictures and notes of everything and even keep up to date with some of  my soap adventures. This will be a fun way for me to keep everyone up to date with all of what we do and then put it all into a book for Cash to have later in life.
So, Christmas was GREAT! Cash was super excited about Santa "Plause" to come and bring presents and toys. We had a great morning with my mom and Greg, Grandma and Grandpa Jerz and Papa Smokey opening presents.

We had lots of fun and had a yummy ham and cheesy potatoes. So the new year is just days away and I think we are ready for it. Excited at least to see what it brings!
